प्रतिषेधः / Ravana Rejects Maricha’s Counsel and Orders the Golden Deer Deception

अवश्यन्तु मया तस्य संयुगे खरघातिनः।प्राणैः प्रियतरा सीता हर्तव्या तव सन्निधौ।।3.40.6।।

avaśyaṃ tu mayā tasya saṃyuge kharaghātinaḥ |

prāṇaiḥ priyatarā sītā hartavyā tava sannidhau ||3.40.6||

നിന്റെ സന്നിധിയിലിരിക്കെ തന്നേ, യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ഖരനെ സംഹരിച്ച ആ രാമനു പ്രാണത്തേക്കാളും പ്രിയയായ സീതയെ ഞാൻ അപഹരിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോകും.

Rāvaṇa declares his intention to abduct Sītā and asserts it will happen even before Mārīca’s eyes.
