Śūrpaṇakhā Reports to Rāvaṇa; Rāma’s Might and Sītā’s Description
हन्यमानं तु तत्सैन्यं पश्यामि शरवृष्टिभिः।इन्द्रेणेवोत्तमं सस्यमाहतन्त्वश्मवृष्टिभिः।।।।
hanyamānaṃ tu tat sainyaṃ paśyāmi śaravṛṣṭibhiḥ | indreṇevottamaṃ sasyam āhataṃ tv aśmavṛṣṭibhiḥ ||
ശരവൃഷ്ടികളാൽ ആ സൈന്യം വെട്ടിവീഴുന്നതായി ഞാൻ കണ്ടു; ഇന്ദ്രൻ അശ്മവൃഷ്ടിപോലെ ആലിക്കല്ലുമഴയാൽ പാകമായ വിളയെ തകർക്കുന്നതുപോലെ.
