अद्य शोकरसज्ञास्ता भविष्यन्ति निरर्थकाः।अनुरूपकुलाः पत्न्यो यासां त्वं पतिरीदृशः।।।।
adya śokarasajñās tā bhaviṣyanti nirarthakāḥ | anurūpakulāḥ patnyo yāsāṃ tvaṃ patir īdṛśaḥ || 3.30.11 ||
ഇന്ന് നിന്റെ യോജ്യകുലജന്മയായ ഭാര്യമാർ ദുഃഖത്തിന്റെ രസം മാത്രമേ അനുഭവിക്കൂ; വ്യർത്ഥമായി വിധവമാരാകും, കാരണം അവരുടെ ഭർത്താവ് നീ ഇത്തരക്കാരനാണ്.
Your wives, who have got a husband like you, must have been born to a befitting race. They will taste the pangs of sorrow today, for no reasons whatsoever.
