Viradha’s Challenge and the Clash in Dandaka

स्पर्शात्तु वरदानेन प्राणान्सम्रोध्य राक्षसः।विराधः शूलमुद्यम्य राघवावभ्यधावत।।3.3.18।।

sparśāt tu varadānena prāṇān saṃrodhya rākṣasaḥ | virādhaḥ śūlam udyamya rāghavāv abhyadhāvata ||3.3.18||

എന്നാൽ വരദാനത്തിന്റെ ശക്തിയാൽ, സ്പർശമാത്രംകൊണ്ടും പ്രാണങ്ങളെ നിയന്ത്രിച്ച രാക്ഷസൻ വിരാധൻ ശൂലം ഉയർത്തി ഇരുവരായ രാഘവന്മാരുടെ നേരെ പാഞ്ഞുവന്നു.
