खरस्य क्रोधः — शूर्पणखावृत्तान्तकथनम्
Khara’s Wrath and Śūrpaṇakhā’s Report
कः कृष्णसर्पमासीनमाशीविषमनागसम्।तुदत्यभिसमापन्नमङ्गुल्यग्रेण लीलया।।।।
kaḥ kṛṣṇasarpam āsīnam āśīviṣam anāgasam | tudaty abhisamāpannam aṅgulyagreṇa līlayā ||
ആരു വിനോദത്തിനായി വിരൽത്തുമ്പുകൊണ്ട് സമീപത്ത് ചുരുണ്ടുകിടക്കുന്ന, നിർദോഷിയെങ്കിലും ഭയങ്കര വിഷമുള്ള കറുത്ത പാമ്പിനെ കുത്തി—പിന്നെയും താൻ സുരക്ഷിതനായി ഇരിക്കാമെന്ന് കരുതും?
