खरस्य क्रोधः — शूर्पणखावृत्तान्तकथनम्

Khara’s Wrath and Śūrpaṇakhā’s Report

इति प्रतिसमादिष्टा राक्षसास्ते चतुर्दश।तत्र जग्मुस्तया सार्धं घना वातेरिता यथा।।।।

iti pratisamādiṣṭā rākṣasās te caturdaśa | tatra jagmus tayā sārdhaṃ ghanā vāteritā yathā ||

ഇങ്ങനെ ആജ്ഞ ലഭിച്ച ആ പതിനാലു രാക്ഷസർ അവളോടുകൂടെ അവിടേക്കു പോയി—വാതം ഓടിക്കുന്ന ഘനമേഘങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ।
