पञ्चवटी-निर्देशः
Agastya Directs Rama to Panchavati
धन्यस्ते जनको राम स राजा रघुनन्दन।।।।यस्त्वया ज्येष्ठपुत्रेण ययातिरिव तारितः।
dhanyas te janako rāma sa rājā raghunandana | yas tvayā jyeṣṭhaputreṇa yayātir iva tāritaḥ ||
“ഹേ രഘുനന്ദന രാമാ, ധന്യനാകുന്നു നിന്റെ ജനകനായ ആ രാജാവ്; നിനക്കെന്ന ജ്യേഷ്ഠപുത്രനാൽ അവൻ യയാതിയെപ്പോലെ ‘പാരാക്കി’ രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.”
O Rama, joy of the Raghu family! with the eldest son like you, your father is blessed and liberated like king Yayati.
