पञ्चवटी-निर्देशः

Agastya Directs Rama to Panchavati

कालोऽयं गतभूयिष्ठो यः काल स्तव राघव।समयो यो नरेन्द्रेण कृतो दशरथेन ते।।।।तीर्णप्रतिज्ञः काकुत्स्थ सुखं राज्ये निवत्स्यसि।

kālo 'yaṃ gatabhūyiṣṭho yaḥ kālas tava rāghava | samayo yo narendreṇa kṛto daśarathena te || tīrṇapratijñaḥ kākutstha sukhaṃ rājye nivatsyasi ||

“ഹേ രാഘവാ, നരേന്ദ്രൻ ദശരഥൻ നിനക്കായി നിശ്ചയിച്ച കാലത്തിന്റെ ഭൂരിഭാഗവും കഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു. ഹേ കാകുത്സ്ഥാ, പ്രതിജ്ഞ പൂർത്തിയായാൽ നീ നിന്റെ രാജ്യത്തിൽ സന്തോഷത്തോടെ വസിക്കും.”
