तत्र गत्वाऽऽश्रमपदं कृत्वा सौमित्रिणा सह।रमस्व त्वं पितुर्वाक्यं तथोक्तमनुपालयन्।।।।

Transliteration

tatra gatvāśramapadaṃ kṛtvā saumitriṇā saha | ramasva tvaṃ pitur vākyaṃ tathoktam anupālayan ||

Translation

അവിടെ ചെന്നു, സൗമിത്രി (ലക്ഷ്മണൻ) സഹിതം ആശ്രമസ്ഥലം പണിതു, പിതാവ് പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ ആ ആജ്ഞയെ അനുസരിച്ച് സന്തോഷത്തോടെ വസിക്ക.”
