इदमत्यद्भुतं श्रुत्वा सर्वेषां नो महामुने।कौतूहलं महज्जातं किमिदं साधु कथ्यताम्।।।।वक्तव्यं यदि चेदविप्र नातिगुह्यमपि प्रभो।

Transliteration

idam atyadbhutaṃ śrutvā sarveṣāṃ no mahāmune | kautūhalaṃ mahaj jātaṃ kim idaṃ sādhu kathyatām || vaktavyaṃ yadi ced avipra nātiguhyam api prabho |

Translation

മഹാമുനേ! ഈ അത്യദ്ഭുതമായ വൃത്താന്തം കേട്ടപ്പോൾ ഞങ്ങളൊക്കെയിലും മഹത്തായ കൗതുകം ഉണർന്നു. ഇതെന്താണ്? ദയവായി സുതാര്യമായി പറഞ്ഞുതരണമേ. അത്യന്തം ഗൂഢമല്ലെങ്കിൽ, പൂജ്യ ബ്രാഹ്മണനേ, പ്രഭോ, ഞങ്ങളോട് പറയണമേ.
