पञ्चाप्सरो-सरः कथनम् तथा अगस्त्याश्रममार्गनिर्देशः

Panchapsara Lake Account and Directions to Agastya

यूथबद्धांश्च पृषतान्मदोन्मत्तान् विषाणिनः।महिषांश्च वराहांश्च नागांश्च द्रुमवैरिणः।।।।

yūthabaddhāṃś ca pṛṣatān madonmattān viṣāṇinaḥ | mahiṣāṃś ca varāhāṃś ca nāgāṃś ca drumavairiṇaḥ ||

(അവർ അവിടെ) കൂട്ടമായി സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്ന മാൻകളെയും, മദോന്മത്തമായ കൊമ്പുള്ള മൃഗങ്ങളെയും, കൂടാതെ മഹിഷങ്ങളെയും, വരാഹങ്ങളെയും, വൃക്ഷങ്ങളെ പിഴുതെറിയുന്ന വൃക്ഷവൈരികളായ നാഗങ്ങളെയും (ആനകളെയും) കണ്ടു।
