ऋषय ऊचुः । जंबूखंडस्त्वया प्रोक्तो यथावदिह सत्तमः । विष्कंभस्य च प्रब्रूहि परिमाणं हि तत्त्वतः
ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | jaṃbūkhaṃḍastvayā prokto yathāvadiha sattamaḥ | viṣkaṃbhasya ca prabrūhi parimāṇaṃ hi tattvataḥ
ഋഷികൾ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ സത്തമാ, നിങ്ങൾ ജംബൂഖണ്ഡത്തെ യഥാവിധി വിവരിച്ചു; ഇനി അതിന്റെ വിഷ്കംഭം (വീതി) എന്ന യഥാർത്ഥ അളവ് വിശദമായി പറഞ്ഞുതരുക।
