वसेदविकृतं वासः कार्पासं वा कषायकम् । तदेव परिधानीयं शुक्लं तांतवमुत्तमम्
vasedavikṛtaṃ vāsaḥ kārpāsaṃ vā kaṣāyakam | tadeva paridhānīyaṃ śuklaṃ tāṃtavamuttamam
അലങ്കാരമില്ലാത്ത ലളിതവസ്ത്രം ധരിക്കണം—പരുത്തിയുടേതോ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ലളിതമായ കഷായ (ഗേരുവ) വർണ്ണത്തിലുള്ളതോ. വാസ്തവത്തിൽ ഉത്തമ നൂലാൽ നെയ്ത ശ്വേതവസ്ത്രം തന്നെയാണ് ധരിക്കേണ്ടത്.
