विकुंडल उवाच । किं तत्पुण्यं कथं जातं किं जन्म च पुरातनम् । तत्सर्वं कथ्यतां दूत ततो दास्यामि सत्वरम्
vikuṃḍala uvāca | kiṃ tatpuṇyaṃ kathaṃ jātaṃ kiṃ janma ca purātanam | tatsarvaṃ kathyatāṃ dūta tato dāsyāmi satvaram
വികുണ്ഡലൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ആ പുണ്യം എന്ത്, അത് എങ്ങനെ ഉത്ഭവിച്ചു, ആ പുരാതന ജന്മം ഏത്? ഹേ ദൂതാ, എല്ലാം പറയുക; പിന്നെ ഞാൻ ഉടൻ നൽകാം.
