विष्णुभक्तिं विना नॄणां पापिष्ठानां विशां वर । उपायो नास्ति नास्त्यन्यः संतर्तुं नरकांबुधिम्

viṣṇubhaktiṃ vinā nṝṇāṃ pāpiṣṭhānāṃ viśāṃ vara | upāyo nāsti nāstyanyaḥ saṃtartuṃ narakāṃbudhim

ഹേ ജനശ്രേഷ്ഠാ! പാപിഷ്ഠരായ മനുഷ്യർക്കു വിഷ്ണുഭക്തിയില്ലാതെ നരകരൂപമായ സമുദ്രം കടക്കാൻ ഒരു ഉപായവും ഇല്ല—മറ്റൊരു ഉപായം ഒട്ടുമില്ല।
