आदित्य उवाच । किरणाः कोटिकोटिर्मे लोकनाशकराः पराः । न चाभीष्टकरा लोके प्रयोगाच्छिन्धि तान्प्रभो
āditya uvāca | kiraṇāḥ koṭikoṭirme lokanāśakarāḥ parāḥ | na cābhīṣṭakarā loke prayogācchindhi tānprabho
ആദിത്യൻ പറഞ്ഞു—എന്റെ കിരണങ്ങൾ കോടി കോടി; ലോകനാശത്തിന് പരമശക്തിയുള്ളവ. എങ്കിലും ലോകത്തിൽ അവ ഇഷ്ടഫലം നൽകുന്നില്ല; ഹേ പ്രഭോ, യഥോചിത പ്രയോഗത്തോടെ അവയെ നിയന്ത്രിക്കണമേ।
