मायाक्रोडतनुर्विष्णुर्दुर्वचांसि सहन्रुषा । जलोपरि दधारेमां धरां भूधर एव च

മായാശക്തിയാൽ വരാഹരൂപം ധരിച്ചു വിഷ്ണു നിയന്ത്രിത കോപത്തോടെ കഠിനവചനങ്ങൾ സഹിച്ചു. പിന്നെ ജലത്തിന്മേൽ ഈ ഭൂമിയെ ധരിച്ചു, അവൾക്കാധാരമായ പർവ്വതംപോലെ ആയിത്തീർന്നു.
