एवं चैवार्धयामेन तयोरस्त्रे निपेततुः । एतस्मिंन्नन्तरे वीरौ खड्गचर्मधरौ तदा
evaṃ caivārdhayāmena tayorastre nipetatuḥ | etasmiṃnnantare vīrau khaḍgacarmadharau tadā
ഇങ്ങനെ അർദ്ധയാമത്തിനുള്ളിൽ ഇരുവരുടെയും അസ്ത്രങ്ങൾ വീണുപോയി. അതിനിടയിൽ ആ രണ്ടു വീരന്മാർ ഖഡ്ഗവും ചർമവും (ഢാൽ) ധരിച്ചു.
