FAQs

It reflects the Purāṇic convention of honoring Gaṇeśa (Gaṇādhipa) as a revered deity associated with auspicious beginnings and the removal of obstacles, even when the final address is to Viṣṇu (Keśava).

By acknowledging Hara (Śiva) through ‘Hara’s son’ (Gaṇeśa) and then directly approaching Keśava (Viṣṇu), the verse models reverence across traditions rather than rivalry.

The verse emphasizes humility and proper devotional etiquette: approaching the divine with reverence, worship, and a sense of auspicious preparation before seeking audience or guidance.
