Praise of the Merits of Sacred Ponds, Tree-Planting, and Water-Charities

स्वयं पुष्करिणी तीरे त्वनंतं फलमश्नुते । तस्माच्छतगुणं ब्रूमः शाखिनां पुण्यकारिणाम्

svayaṃ puṣkariṇī tīre tvanaṃtaṃ phalamaśnute | tasmācchataguṇaṃ brūmaḥ śākhināṃ puṇyakāriṇām

ആർ സ്വയം പുണ്യപുഷ്കരിണിയുടെ തീരത്ത് വസിക്കുന്നുവോ, അവൻ അനന്ത പുണ്യഫലം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ട് ഞങ്ങൾ പറയുന്നു—വൃക്ഷങ്ങൾ നട്ട് പരിപാലിക്കുന്നവരുടെ പുണ്യം ശതഗുണം ആകുന്നു.
