अपृच्छत्कस्य कर्माणि शोभनानि च चत्वरे । मया नोक्तेप्युषः काले कस्य मत्प्रियकारणात्

apṛcchatkasya karmāṇi śobhanāni ca catvare | mayā noktepyuṣaḥ kāle kasya matpriyakāraṇāt

അവൻ ചത്വരത്തിൽ ചോദിച്ചു—“ഈ ശോഭനകർമ്മങ്ങൾ ആരുടേതാണ്?” ഉഷസ്സുകാലത്ത് ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞില്ലെങ്കിലും, എന്റെ പ്രീതിക്കായി ആരുടെ നിമിത്തം അവൻ എന്നെ പ്രസാദിപ്പിക്കാൻ പ്രിയനായിത്തീർന്നുവെന്ന് മനസ്സിൽ വിചാരിച്ചു।
