आत्मनः शयनीयस्य सदृशं कारयेद्बुधः । समं निर्वापयेद्यत्नाच्छीतवातरजस्तथा

ātmanaḥ śayanīyasya sadṛśaṃ kārayedbudhaḥ | samaṃ nirvāpayedyatnācchītavātarajastathā

ബുദ്ധിമാൻ അതിന് തന്റെ കിടക്കപോലെ കിടപ്പിടം ഒരുക്കണം; പരിശ്രമത്തോടെ അത് സമമാക്കി തണുപ്പോടെ സൂക്ഷിക്കണം, അങ്ങനെ തണുപ്പ്, കാറ്റ്, പൊടി എന്നിവ ബാധിക്കാതിരിക്കും।
