Visual Art Cues: {"scene_description":"A cosmic balance tilts under the unseen hand of Kāla: on one side, devas fade from sacrificial firelight; on the other, daityas stand unnaturally radiant beside a blazing altar. Above, a shadowy wheel of Time turns, casting alternating bands of light and darkness across the ritual ground.","primary_figures":["Personified Kāla (symbolic)","Daityas (collective)","Devas (collective)","Agni (sacrificial fire, symbolic)"],"setting":"A grand yajña-śālā with altars, ladles, soma vessels, and drifting smoke; the cosmos hinted in the sky as a turning wheel","lighting_mood":"eerie chiaroscuro with ritual fire-glow","color_palette":["saffron flame","charcoal gray","copper bronze","pale ash white","deep maroon"],"tanjore_prompt":"Tanjore painting style: a richly ornamented yajña hall with gold leaf flames and embossed altar motifs, Kāla suggested as a dark haloed wheel above, daityas highlighted with jewel-toned garments, devas rendered with dimmed aureoles, intricate border of sacrificial implements and lotus scrollwork.","pahari_prompt":"Pahari miniature style: delicate yajña scene with fine smoke curls, subtle expressions of astonishment and fear, a translucent time-wheel in the sky, cool-to-warm gradient palette, refined linework on vessels and ritual grass, lyrical naturalism in surrounding grove.","kerala_mural_prompt":"Kerala mural style: stylized altar and Agni with bold outlines, Kāla as a circular mandala-like wheel, devas and daityas in contrasting color blocks, strong reds/yellows/greens with black contouring, temple-wall compositional symmetry.","pichwai_prompt":"Pichwai cloth painting style: central yajña fire framed by ornate floral borders, circular Kāla-chakra motif overhead, narrative panels showing devas dimming and daityas brightening, deep blue background with gold and saffron highlights, intricate textile patterns and lotus medallions."}

FAQs

Here 'yajñiya' means 'fit or eligible for yajña'—worthy to receive sacrificial offerings or to be aligned with the sacrificial order.

It frames the reversal of ritual status (Devas vs. Dāityas) as occurring under the pressure of Kāla—Time’s ordained course—suggesting a cosmic, lawful inevitability rather than a random event.

The verse cautions that pride arising from power or boons can lead to actions that disrupt dharmic order, with consequences unfolding according to the larger law of Time.
