FAQs

It alludes to the Samudra-manthana (churning of the cosmic ocean), where Lakṣmī manifests from the Kṣīrasāgara as an embodiment of auspiciousness, prosperity, and divine fortune.

Devarāja means “king of the gods,” a title commonly associated with Indra. In this verse it signals restored cosmic governance—order in the three worlds—following the unfolding of divine events.

The verse links rightful governance (protection of the worlds) with the manifestation of auspiciousness (Lakṣmī), suggesting that dharmic order and divine prosperity are mutually reinforcing.
