यश्चासौ मानुषो भावो भवतो नृपसत्तम । आनृशंस्यपरो राजा सर्वेषु कृपयान्वितः

yaścāsau mānuṣo bhāvo bhavato nṛpasattama | ānṛśaṃsyaparo rājā sarveṣu kṛpayānvitaḥ

ഹേ നൃപശ്രേഷ്ഠാ, നിന്റെ ആ സത്യമായ മാനുഷികഭാവം—അക്രൂരതയിൽ നിലകൊള്ളുന്ന രാജാവാകുന്നതും, എല്ലാവരോടും കരുണയോടെ യുക്തനാകുന്നതും—അത്യന്തം ശോഭിക്കുന്നു.
