यस्य रुष्यसि वै राम मृत्युस्तस्याभिधीयते । गीयसे तेन वै राजन्यम इत्यभिविश्रुतः

yasya ruṣyasi vai rāma mṛtyustasyābhidhīyate | gīyase tena vai rājanyama ityabhiviśrutaḥ

ഹേ രാമാ, നീ ആരോടു ക്രോധിക്കുന്നുവോ അവൻ മരണത്തെ പ്രാപിക്കും എന്നു പറയപ്പെടുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ട്, ഹേ രാജാവേ, നീ ‘യമൻ’ (മൃത്യുദേവൻ) എന്നു പാടപ്പെടുകയും സർവ്വത്ര പ്രസിദ്ധനാകുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
