विष्णुरूपं तदा ज्ञात्वा पृथ्वीं वोढुं स्वतेजसा । मत्स्यकूर्मादिकां चान्यां वाराहीं तनुमाविशत्

viṣṇurūpaṃ tadā jñātvā pṛthvīṃ voḍhuṃ svatejasā | matsyakūrmādikāṃ cānyāṃ vārāhīṃ tanumāviśat

അപ്പോൾ വിഷ്ണുരൂപത്തിന്റെ ആവശ്യം തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞ്, തന്റെ ദിവ്യ തേജസ്സാൽ ഭൂമിയെ ഉയർത്തുവാൻ, മത്സ്യ-കൂർമാദി അവതാരങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ മറ്റൊരു ദേഹമായ വരാഹതനുവിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ചു।
