भक्ताय दांताय च गुह्यमेतदाख्येयमानंदकरं शिवञ्च । इदं महापातकिनां नराणां अघक्षयं वेदविदो वदंति

bhaktāya dāṃtāya ca guhyametadākhyeyamānaṃdakaraṃ śivañca | idaṃ mahāpātakināṃ narāṇāṃ aghakṣayaṃ vedavido vadaṃti

ഈ ഗൂഢമായ, ശിവമയമായ ഉപദേശം ഭക്തനും ഇന്ദ്രിയസംയമമുള്ളവനും മാത്രമേ പറയേണ്ടത്; പറഞ്ഞാൽ അത് ആനന്ദവും മംഗളവും നൽകും. വേദജ്ഞർ പറയുന്നു: മഹാപാതകികളുടേയും പാപം ഇതാൽ ക്ഷയിക്കുന്നു.
