Brahmā’s Puṣkara Sacrifice and the Manifestation of Sarasvatī

with Tīrtha-Merit Teachings

तत्र क्षेत्रे महापुण्या पुष्करे सा तथोत्थिता । तेन तत्पूरणं प्रोक्तं वायुना जगदायुषा

tatra kṣetre mahāpuṇyā puṣkare sā tathotthitā | tena tatpūraṇaṃ proktaṃ vāyunā jagadāyuṣā

ആ മഹാപുണ്യ ക്ഷേത്രമായ പുഷ്കരത്തിൽ അവൾ അങ്ങനെ തന്നെ ഉദ്ഭവിച്ചു; അതുകൊണ്ട് ലോകത്തിന്റെ പ്രാണസ്വരൂപനായ വായുദേവൻ ആ പുരാണം പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു.
