एवं मूढः स पंचास्यो विरिंचिरभवत्पुनः । प्राग्वक्त्रं मुखमेतस्य ऋग्वेदस्य प्रवर्तकम्

evaṃ mūḍhaḥ sa paṃcāsyo viriṃcirabhavatpunaḥ | prāgvaktraṃ mukhametasya ṛgvedasya pravartakam

ഇങ്ങനെ മോഹിതനായിരുന്ന ആ പഞ്ചമുഖൻ വീണ്ടും വിരിഞ്ചി (ബ്രഹ്മാവ്) ആയി. അവന്റെ കിഴക്കോട്ടുള്ള മുഖം ഋഗ്വേദത്തിന്റെ പ്രവർത്തകനായി നിലകൊണ്ടു।
