तद्दृष्टं मयि का दुष्टे तद्गेहे गर्वितेऽधुना । तच्छ्रुत्वा ब्राह्मणीवाक्यं क्रोधसंरक्तलोचना

taddṛṣṭaṃ mayi kā duṣṭe tadgehe garvite'dhunā | tacchrutvā brāhmaṇīvākyaṃ krodhasaṃraktalocanā

ഹേ ദുഷ്ടേ! ആ വീട്ടിൽ പാർത്തു ഇപ്പോൾ നീ അഹങ്കാരിണിയായോ—എന്നിൽ നീ എന്താണ് കണ്ടത്? ബ്രാഹ്മണിയുടെ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ടപ്പോൾ അവളുടെ കണ്ണുകൾ ക്രോധത്തിൽ ചുവന്നു.
