दिव्यादेव्युवाच । विपाको हि महाभाग कर्मणां मम सांप्रतम् । इह तिष्ठामि दुःखेन वैधव्येन समन्विता

ദിവ്യാ ദേവി പറഞ്ഞു— “ഹേ മഹാഭാഗ, ഞാൻ ഇപ്പോൾ അനുഭവിക്കുന്നത് എന്റെ കർമ്മങ്ങളുടെ വിപാകം തന്നെയാണ്. ഞാൻ ഇവിടെ ദുഃഖത്തോടെ, വൈധവ്യഭാരത്തോടെ കഴിയുന്നു.”
