Vena’s Inquiry into Pitṛ-tīrtha: Pippala’s Austerity, the Vidyādhara Boon, and the Crane’s Rebuke of Pride

Concept: True tejas is not extinguished by coverings; like the sun behind clouds, inner realization still radiates.

Application: When circumstances ‘cloud’ your life, keep practice steady; your values and devotion still shine through actions and speech.

Visual Art Cues: {"scene_description":"A split-scene allegory: on one side, fierce flames leap upward in sharp tongues; on the other, a vast monsoon cloud holds the sun within its belly, yet sunbeams pierce through in radiant shafts. FAQs

It teaches that true brilliance (tejas) remains effective even when seemingly covered—like the sun inside clouds—suggesting inner power or truth can still manifest.

Both are archetypes of tejas (radiance/energy). The verse uses them to illustrate intensity (fire) and undiminished luminosity despite obstruction (sun within clouds).

One should not judge worth by temporary concealment or obstacles; genuine virtue, knowledge, or spiritual power continues to shine and will reveal itself through its effects.
