FAQs

It concludes the tīrtha section by stating the fruit (svarga-gati) associated with worldly life and meritorious acts, and signals that the listed pilgrimage places have been presented in a concise, enumerative form.

Indirectly: by framing tīrtha-yātrā as a dharmic support for spiritual progress. In the Narada Purana’s tirtha context, devotion is expressed through reverent pilgrimage and honoring sacred places, yielding पुण्य (puṇya) and higher destinies.

Ritual-practical dharma is implied rather than a specific Vedāṅga: the verse functions as an uddeśa (brief listing) typical of dharma instruction, guiding how to remember and apply tīrtha-related observances for merit.
