The Exposition of the Maheśa Mantra
Mahēśa-mantra-prakāśana
प्राज्ञा समीरिता षष्ठी भवांते स्यात्प्रभा कला । उद्भवाय नमः पश्चात्सुधा स्यादष्टमी कला ॥ ८५ ॥
prājñā samīritā ṣaṣṭhī bhavāṃte syātprabhā kalā | udbhavāya namaḥ paścātsudhā syādaṣṭamī kalā || 85 ||
‘പ്രാജ്ഞാ’ ആറാം കലയായി പ്രസ്താവിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു; മുൻ കലയുടെ അവസാനം ‘പ്രഭാ’ എന്ന കല ഉണ്ടാകും. അതിനുശേഷം “ഉദ്ഭവായ നമഃ” എന്ന നമസ്കാരം വരുന്നു; ‘സുധാ’ എട്ടാം കലയായി പറയപ്പെടുന്നു॥
