The Exposition of the Nityā-paṭala
हवनात्तदवाप्नोति यदादौ फलमीरितम् । एवं नक्षत्रवृक्षोत्थवह्नौ तैस्तैर्मधुप्लुतैः ॥ १८५ ॥
havanāttadavāpnoti yadādau phalamīritam | evaṃ nakṣatravṛkṣotthavahnau taistairmadhuplutaiḥ || 185 ||
ഹവനം ചെയ്താൽ ആദ്യം പ്രസ്താവിച്ച അതേ ഫലം ലഭിക്കുന്നു. അതുപോലെ, അതത് നക്ഷത്രബന്ധമുള്ള വൃക്ഷങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നു തെളിയിച്ച അഗ്നിയിൽ, തേൻ ചേർത്ത് നനച്ച ഹവിസുകൾ അർപ്പിച്ചാൽ പറഞ്ഞ ഫലങ്ങൾ സിദ്ധമാകും.

It affirms a core ritual principle: correctly performed havana yields the specific phala (result) previously prescribed, emphasizing fidelity to injunctions and the certainty of karmic outcomes.
Though primarily ritual-technical, it supports bhakti by presenting offerings as disciplined acts of reverence; sincerity expressed through prescribed worship (homa) is said to culminate in the promised benefit.
Vedāṅga Jyotiṣa is implied through the nakṣatra–vṛkṣa linkage and the use of corresponding materials; it also reflects Kalpa-style ritual procedure—what to offer, into which fire, and with what adjunct (honey).
