Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches that ritual acts (havana) become especially efficacious when aligned with sacred time—here, the planetary weekday (vāra)—and that the Purana treats such timing as a reliable dharmic method for obtaining intended fruits.
While primarily a ritual instruction, it supports bhakti indirectly by prescribing disciplined, faith-filled offerings performed with certainty (suniścitam), a hallmark of devotional practice expressed through Vedic rites.
It reflects Jyotiṣa/Vedāṅga-style application of vāra (weekday ruled by planets) to ritual prayoga, indicating which havana substances (apāmārga, pippala) are to be used on specific days for assured results.
