The Exposition of the Nityā-paṭala
मृत्युकाष्ठानले मृत्युपत्रपुष्पफलैरपि । समिद्भिर्जुहुयात्सम्यग्वारे शार्चनपूर्वकम् ॥ १७३ ॥
mṛtyukāṣṭhānale mṛtyupatrapuṣpaphalairapi | samidbhirjuhuyātsamyagvāre śārcanapūrvakam || 173 ||
‘മൃത്യു’ കാഷ്ഠംകൊണ്ട് ജ്വലിപ്പിച്ച അഗ്നിയിൽ, ‘മൃത്യു’ കർമത്തിനായി നിശ്ചയിച്ച ഇല, പുഷ്പ, ഫലം എന്നിവയും സമിധകളും ചേർത്ത് വിധിപൂർവ്വം ആഹുതി അർപ്പിക്കണം. നിശ്ചിത ദിനത്തിൽ ആദ്യം പൂജ നടത്തി ശരിയായി ഹോമം ചെയ്യണം.
