Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: vira
It presents Krishna’s protective and demon-destroying attributes as names for remembrance (smaraṇa) and praise (stuti), directing the mind to the Lord as the refuge who removes fear and safeguards dharma.
By listing Krishna’s līlā-based epithets, it encourages nāma-japa and nāma-kīrtana: devotion grows by repeatedly recalling the Lord’s compassionate acts—protecting devotees (gopas, cows) and defeating forces that threaten spiritual life.
The verse functions as a concise nāma-stuti suited for precise recitation; it implicitly relies on correct śabda-prayoga (Vyākaraṇa) and accurate pronunciation/intonation (Śikṣā) for disciplined chanting.
