सनत्कुमार उवाच । किं त्वं नारद जानासि पूर्वजन्मनि यत्त्वया । प्राप्तं भगवतः साक्षाच्छूलिनो युगलात्मकम् ॥ १ ॥

sanatkumāra uvāca | kiṃ tvaṃ nārada jānāsi pūrvajanmani yattvayā | prāptaṃ bhagavataḥ sākṣācchūlino yugalātmakam || 1 ||

സനത്കുമാരൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ നാരദാ, നിന്റെ മുൻജന്മത്തിൽ നീ സാക്ഷാൽ ഭഗവാൻ ശൂലിൻ (ശിവൻ) എന്നവന്റെ യുഗലസ്വരൂപത്തിൽ നിന്ന് നേരിട്ട് ലഭിച്ചതിനെ നീ അറിയുന്നുവോ, ഓർക്കുന്നുവോ? ॥ १ ॥
