This is a chapter-colophon that seals the teaching unit: it marks the completion of a structured exposition on Kṛṣṇa-related mantra classifications, emphasizing that mantra-knowledge is preserved and transmitted within an ordered Purāṇic framework.
Indirectly: by naming the chapter as an analysis of Kṛṣṇa-associated mantras, it situates bhakti-practice (such as japa and mantra-upāsanā) within the Narada Purana’s technical and devotional curriculum, where devotion is supported by correct mantra understanding.
Mantra-bheda (classification and technical differentiation of mantras) is highlighted—an applied, śāstric approach aligned with the Third Pāda’s technical orientation, relevant to correct japa/prayoga and disciplined ritual usage.
