Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada within the Vedanga/technical rites context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: vira
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It presents a protective (rakṣā) application of yantra–mantra: sacred geometry (six-angled form) combined with directional placement to restrain harmful forces like theft and epidemic affliction.
While technical in nature, it assumes sacred order governed by divine power; such protections are traditionally performed with mantra-japa and reverence, aligning practical security with faith in dharmic, divinely sanctioned means.
It reflects applied ritual-technology: directional (dik) layout and diagrammatic construction used in prayoga (procedural rites), a technical discipline associated with auxiliary Vedic sciences and mantra application.
