Narada (teaching in a prescriptive, ritual-injunction style within the Narada Purana dialogue tradition)
Vrata: none (nitya dīpa-dāna to Hanumān)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It teaches that disciplined daily worship—specifically lamp-offering to Hanumān done with proper vidhāna—creates powerful spiritual merit and removes obstacles, making one’s aims achievable across all realms (the three worlds).
Bhakti here is expressed as steady, repeated practice (pratyaham) with reverence and correct observance (vidhāna). The verse links consistent devotional action to grace and accomplishment, a hallmark of practical bhakti taught in Purāṇic instruction.
The key technical point is vidhāna—performing a rite according to injunctions (kalpa/ritual procedure). It emphasizes that correct method and regularity are integral to obtaining the stated fruit of the practice.
