Narada (in a didactic description within the Vedanga/technical section)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It gives dhyāna-lakṣaṇa—recognizable sacred marks of Viṣṇu—so the devotee can steady the mind on a precise, auspicious form during worship and meditation.
Bhakti is supported by focused remembrance (smaraṇa) and worship (pūjā); by naming Viṣṇu’s emblems—cakra, śaṅkha, gadā, padma, pītāmbara, and Śrīvatsa—the verse trains the devotee in concentrated devotional contemplation.
It reflects a technical, lakṣaṇa-based method used in ritual and recitation: defining a deity by distinguishing attributes for correct dhyāna and pūjā-vidhi, aligning with the precise descriptive style valued in śāstric practice.
