Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 15

Mahāviṣṇu-Mantras: Aṣṭākṣarī, Sudarśana-Astra, Nyāsa Systems, Āvaraṇa-Pūjā, and Prayogas

न्यसेन्मूलार्णमेकैकं सचंद्रं तारसम्पुटम् । अथवा वै नमोंतेन न्यसेदित्यपरे जगुः ॥ १५ ॥

nyasenmūlārṇamekaikaṃ sacaṃdraṃ tārasampuṭam | athavā vai namoṃtena nyasedityapare jaguḥ || 15 ||

ഓരോ മൂലാക്ഷരവും ഒന്നൊന്നായി, ചന്ദ്രം (ം) ചേർത്ത്, താരാ (ഓം) കൊണ്ട് സമ്പുടീകരിച്ച് ന്യാസം ചെയ്യണം. അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ചിലർ അവസാനം ‘നമഃ’ ചേർത്ത് ന്യാസം ചെയ്യണമെന്ന് പറയുന്നു.
