Narada (teaching in a technical Vedanga/Mantra-vidya context, within the Narada Purana’s instructional dialogue tradition)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It frames sacred ‘Piṭhas’ as living centers of Śakti and teaches that specific energies are accessed through precise syllabic formulation—showing that spiritual power is linked to disciplined sound (mantra) and its prescribed components.
While primarily technical, it supports Bhakti by emphasizing correct mantra practice as a devotional discipline—channeling reverence into regulated recitation that invokes divine energies connected with sacred seats (piṭhas).
It highlights śikṣā-like phonetic precision (hrasva/short syllables) and mantra-vidyā methodology—how named powers are associated with specific bīja syllables and elemental markers such as fire (vahni) and moon (indu).
