FAQs

It links outer ritual precision (nyāsa—installing mantras in the body) with inner realization (dhyāna in the heart-lotus), presenting Sūrya as a protective and beneficent deity who grants fearlessness and auspicious gifts.

Bhakti here is expressed as focused, affectionate contemplation: after sanctifying oneself through nyāsa, the devotee visualizes Sūrya within the heart, approaching the deity as a living presence who bestows protection and grace.

It highlights ritual discipline and mantra-application—nyāsa and dhyāna as structured techniques used in Vedic/Āgamic practice to internalize a deity and stabilize concentration for worship.
