Gaṇeśa Mantra-vidhi: Mahāgaṇapati Gāyatrī, Vakratuṇḍa Mantra, Nyāsa, Homa, Āvaraṇa-pūjā, and Caturthī Vrata

लब्ध्वा गुरुमुखान्मंत्रं दीक्षासंस्कारपूर्वकम् । ब्रह्मचारी हविष्याशी सत्यवाक् च जितेंद्रियः ॥ ७४ ॥

labdhvā gurumukhānmaṃtraṃ dīkṣāsaṃskārapūrvakam | brahmacārī haviṣyāśī satyavāk ca jiteṃdriyaḥ || 74 ||

ഗുരുമുഖത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ദീക്ഷാ-സംസ്കാരങ്ങളോടെ മന്ത്രം ലഭിച്ച ശേഷം, साधകൻ ബ്രഹ്മചാരിയായി ജീവിക്കണം—ഹവിഷ്യാഹാരം കഴിക്കണം, സത്യം പറയണം, ഇന്ദ്രിയങ്ങളെ ജയിക്കണം.
