The Explanation of Sandhyā and Related Daily Observances
Saṅdhyā-ādi Nitya-karma-Vidhi
निमज्य सलिले तस्मिन्मूलं देवाकृतिं स्मरेत् । निमज्ज्योन्मज्ज्य त्रिश्चैवं सिंचेत्कं कुंभमुद्रया ॥ ३४ ॥
nimajya salile tasminmūlaṃ devākṛtiṃ smaret | nimajjyonmajjya triścaivaṃ siṃcetkaṃ kuṃbhamudrayā || 34 ||
ആ ജലത്തിൽ അതിനെ മുക്കി മൂലമന്ത്രവും ഭഗവാന്റെ ദിവ്യരൂപവും സ്മരിക്കണം. പിന്നെ ഇങ്ങനെ മൂന്നു പ്രാവശ്യം മുക്കി ഉയർത്തി കുംഭമുദ്രയാൽ ജലം തളിക്കണം।
