FAQs

It links Gaṇeśa (Gaṇeśvara) with a specific class of mātṛkā-devatās connected to Vighneśa, indicating that obstacle-removal and the regulation of attendant forces (gaṇas) are governed through these divine-letter/mother principles as taught in technical (mantra/vedāṅga) contexts.

By identifying Gaṇeśa as the presiding power over Vighneśa-related mātṛkās and gaṇas, it supports the bhakti principle of approaching the appropriate devatā with reverence for successful completion of rites and spiritual undertakings—devotion aligned with correct divine order.

It reflects mantra-śāstra style mapping of devatās to mātṛkā categories (useful in ritual recitation and phonetic/letter-based worship) and reinforces the technical idea that specific deities preside over specific functional groups (gaṇa/devatā-varga) within rites.
